Dropped Top Plinths

A square plinth with a recessed top surface. The sunken edge holds products in place and gives the display a clean, framed look. Ideal for exhibitions, retail spaces and galleries where you need items to stay put.
Size: Available in a range of width and height combinations. Select your options above or get in touch for a bespoke size.
Colour: White or black as standard. Custom colours available to any Pantone or RAL reference.
Finish: Sanded smooth, primed and finished with two coats of durable 2K polyurethane.
Branding: We can apply vinyl decals from your vector artwork. Add this as an option above and send us the file.
Material: Built from high-quality MDF.
Load Rating: Supports up to 100kg.

Why Dropped Top Plinths?
The recessed top is the key feature. It creates a shallow lip around the edge that holds products in place, which matters more than you'd think on a busy exhibition floor or a retail space where customers are picking things up and putting them back. It also gives the display a cleaner, more framed look compared to a flat-top plinth, where products can look like they've just been placed on a box.
If you're displaying something small, lightweight or rounded, the dropped top stops it from being knocked off or sliding to the edge.

Every product is made to order with a typical lead time of 10 working days.
Larger orders or busy periods may take a bit longer.

The Manufacturing Process
All products are unique, however for many of our 'stock' items they are manufactured using this three step process.
Draw & Cut
The first step of any project is to create a technical drawing and to cut the material to the correct sizes, typically using a CNC Machine.
Assemble
Once cut, each component is sanded and assembled into the finished structure.
Spray
We use a PU (Polyurethane) Paint which is professionally sprayed onto each item to give it a long lasting, wipe clean finish.
