Slotted Tank Trap Cover

A tank trap cover with open sides that allow you to slide it over an upright scarf bar and pass cables through. Same build as our standard cover, but with slots for access.
Dimensions: 628mm wide x 628mm deep x 350mm high. Sized to fit standard Doughty tank traps.
Colour: Black or white.
Material: MDF as standard. Birch ply available as an upgrade.
Finish options: Theatre paint (matte, no glare) or Raptor bed liner (textured, hard-wearing).

Why the Slotted Version?
The slots let you drop the cover over an upright pole and run cables through without lifting the whole unit on and off. That saves time during setup and strike, especially when you've got a row of tank traps along the front of a stage. The slot width is designed to accommodate standard scarf bars and cable runs.

The Manufacturing Process
All products are unique, however for many of our 'stock' items they are manufactured using this three step process.
Draw & Cut
The first step of any project is to create a technical drawing and to cut the material to the correct sizes, typically using a CNC Machine.
Assemble
Once cut, each component is sanded and assembled into the finished structure.
Spray
We use a PU (Polyurethane) Paint which is professionally sprayed onto each item to give it a long lasting, wipe clean finish.
